NookHarvest

Editorial policy

How we aim to make growing advice useful, transparent, and honest about uncertainty.

Beginner-focused purpose

NookHarvest helps people make sound first decisions about growing edible plants. We use plain language, define unfamiliar terms, and explain when light, climate, container size, or care capacity changes the answer.

How recommendations are developed

Plant recommendations start with structured growing requirements such as direct-light hours, root room, temperature limits, growth habit, support needs, and suitability for a particular space. Editorial preference, sponsorship, or popularity does not override a poor growing fit.

Troubleshooting without false certainty

The same symptom can have several causes. We begin with what a grower can observe, offer checks that help separate likely causes, and avoid presenting a photograph or a single symptom as a definitive diagnosis.

Review and updates

Content carries an internal publication status and review record. Material guidance should be revisited when better evidence, seasonal context, or horticultural understanding changes the practical recommendation. Time-sensitive local planting advice should point readers to a current regional source rather than imply one universal calendar.

Corrections

When we identify a material error, we aim to correct the page promptly and review related content that may repeat it. Send corrections to phanendra67@gmail.com, including the page link, the claim in question, and any supporting source.

Commercial independence

Any sponsorship, gifted product, or affiliate relationship must be disclosed clearly. Commercial relationships must not determine whether a plant, method, or product is presented as suitable.
